Scammer Uses Liv Morgan’s Name To Rob Man Of His Entire Home

Over the past few years, social media platforms have become an easy medium for scammers to exploit oblivious people. Fans of established fanbases are often target of such scams, one such incident happened with Liv Morgan’s follower.

Scammers posing as accounts of popular celebrities to extort money from fans have become an increasingly common phenomenon on the internet. In the latest incident that Morgan described, a fan of hers lost his house to a scammer.

Morgan wrote in a tweet that the fan was fooled into believing that he was helping her. She said the fan lost everything to the trickster in the unfortunate incident. Her tweet is read as follows.

A man sold his home and lost everything thinking he was helping “me”. This has me so sick. Please know I would never reach out to ask any of you for a single penny. I’m so sad. Please stop

The 27-year-old WWE Superstar was saddened to learn about this incident. She wrote in another tweet that there are several other accounts pretending to be her to solicit money from fans. She also urged swindlers to stop using her name to scam people out of their hard earned money.

“Guys I’ve been sent so many emails of horror stories about people making fake accounts and emails pretending to be me & asking for huge amounts of money. This really makes me so sad. Please don’t use my name to con people out of their hard earned money. Please please please,” wrote Morgan.

This applies to every fanbase, every follower of a celebrity, please do not fall for these things. It’s a common sense that no celeb or athlete will ever reach out to you for money. If you come across suspicious accounts, make sure you report them to proper authorities.

Kids and old people are especially targeted with these frauds, which is why you should educate them about this to make them immune to elaborate scams. Check out Morgan’s tweets below.
