Georgia Lawmaker Wants Sect. of State Brad Raffensperger Investigated After Ballot Audit Fraud Allegations – USAFeatures.news

(USA Features) A GOP Georgia lawmaker wants Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger investigated after he claimed that the 2020 elections were problem-free following revelations by a voter integrity group on Wednesday an analysis turned up “provable fraud.”

Sen. Burt Jones, a Republican member of the Senate Government Oversight Committee, fired off a letter Thursday to committee chair Sen. Marty Harbin to call Raffensperger in to testify about the election results which showed that President Joe Biden won the state by about 12,000 votes.

That tally has been reaffirmed in multiple ballot recounts, but analysts from VoterGA, who were provided access to ballot images via a court order, found major discrepancies including evidence that many ballots were scanned more than once and thus counted more than once.

In his letter, Jones details several allegations of election fraud spanning from reports that in excess of 10,000 votes were cast illegally to a claim from VoterGA that at least 200 absentee ballots were scanned twice.

“Trusted, transparent, and secure elections are the bedrock of our democracy,” Jones wrote.

“As the head of our elections in Georgia, the buck stops with the Secretary of State, and our citizens deserve answers to these questions and to have their faith in our electoral process restored,” he added.

“I am confident that a thorough investigation of Secretary Raffensperger’s actions will provide the accountability and clarity surrounding the 2020 election that the citizens of this great state deserve,” the letter continued.

For his part, Raffensperger has demanded that two ranking elections officials in Fulton County, which includes Atlanta and is where VoterGA discovered the discrepancies, be fired.

“There are multiple lawsuits over this topic. This will be decided by the courts, not power grasping political candidates,” Jordan Fuchs, Raffensperger’s deputy, told the Washington Examiner.

Jones is expected to enter the race for lieutenant governor in the next few weeks, according to a source who spoke to the Examiner.

VoterGA officials said their analysis of ballots they’ve been given access to thus far shows that the hand-count audit last year “was riddled with massive errors and provable fraud.”

The analysis indicates at least three dozen batches of mail-in ballots that contained 4,255 votes that were redundantly added to the final audit results, according to Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia.

Almost 3,400 of those ballots that were doubled counted were for President Joe Biden.

In addition, the audit team found seven audit tally sheets they say “were falsified to contain fabricated vote totals,” The Epoch Times reported.

Following the news out of Fulton County, the former president issued a statement.

“The news coming out of Georgia is beyond incredible,” Trump said.

“The hand recount in Fulton County was a total fraud! They stuffed the ballot box—and got caught. We will lose our Country if this is allowed to stand,” he added.
